Who Am I?
I am a passionate, creative teacher, and artist. I lead with experience, encouragement, and inspiration. Nature and Jewish themes abound in my artwork. I love nature, still-lifes, and landscapes as my subject matter and mixed media, printmaking, clay, and collage for my mediums. With my guidance and enthusiasm, students develop their creativity and expressiveness. They deepen their skills while exploring new materials and techniques. I love teaching the artistic process! I lead art lessons in classrooms, summer camps, private parties, and my home studio. Curious and playful, I never tire of creating and teaching art.
Private Art Classes
Small, semi-private art classes are available by age group in Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. Check out the different types of materials and projects experienced by students in the various age groups. 2 - 3rd grade
Being the youngest age group for which lessons are offered, students get an introduction to making art through a variety of playful and purposeful experiences. Mediums and skills taught for this age group include:

4 - 5th grade
Having more fine motor skills and creativity the older fourth and fifth-grade students start to explore more mediums while practicing line quality and other technical artistic skills. Mediums and skills include:

Relief Printing
6 - 7th grade
Students in this age group see the world around them and want to translate it into art. Students learn a lot about blending colors and lines to draw the imperfect world we live in. Mediums and techniques include:
Charcoal Drawing
Pastels
Pen and Ink Drawing
Printmaking
8 - 9th grade
Young adults in this age group want to express themselves and their artistic vision. Students fine-tune their observation and drawing skills with the goals of more realism, craftsmanship, and excitement in their art.
