Intro to Art
Students experience a broad range of materials as they explore their creative abilities. Each project focuses on a specific principle of art. Students develop stronger art making and problem solving skills. This class meets for one hour, 8 weeks and costs $220.
General Fine Arts
Students experience a fun, structured studio setting to explore art making techniques and materials. Students will create 3 to 4 pieces of art in the techniques of drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. They will experience a variety of materials and subject matter. This will help them acquire and deepen many skills from following directions to color theory, composition, sticking with a process through its ups and downs and being considerate of others. Each session offers new projects to expand your child’s art education and bring them to the joy of creating. This class meets for one hour, 8 weeks and costs $220.
Oil Painting
Ladies oil painting class is a nurturing, social, set time for yourself to develop and express your creativity. The material is water-soluble oil paint hence very user friendly. Through the subject matter of still-life or landscape, students will learn composition, color mixing, brushstrokes and blending, and representing light as it wraps around and describes the subject matter. One painting will be completed per session. This class meets for 1.5 hours, for 8 weeks and costs $320.
Ladies Paint Nights
Paint Nights, a self-inclusive experience, will have you moving a brush and mixing acrylic paint to create an image in a fun, social environment. Each one night session meets for 2 hours and costs $38.
